Karcher Named Employer of Year

Carl Karcher Enterprises was named Large Employer of the Year by the Orange County Private Industry Council at its fourth annual awards and installation dinner.
Others recognized at the event for outstanding job-training programs included ALS Corp. as Small Employer of the Year; Gabriel Vidrios of Arnold Circuits Inc. as Adult Trainee of the Year, and Miguel Ramirez of Long’s Drug Store, Anaheim, as Youth Trainee of the Year. Awards also went to the cities of Anaheim and La Habra.
During the past year, the council has trained and placed more than 2,100 county residents in full-time jobs, council officials said.
