Nomination of Judge Bork

Regarding the nomination of Bork, I feel this is wrong and would be unacceptable to many people in this country. The voting pattern of the electorate is usually middle of the road.
Why should we be shackled with a right-wing zealot on the bench who will undo all the progress we have made in civil rights and equal rights for women and have the Constitution used in repressive rulings far from what our Founding Fathers intended?
After Meese and Bork get their message through on the Constitution, we would be experiencing a reign of tyranny.
