Pediatric Center Replaces Facility at New Address

The $4-million California Pediatric Center has opened at 1530 S. Olive St. in downtown Los Angeles, replacing a facility at 322 West 21st St.
Designed by Bobrow/Thomas & Associates, the 20,300-square-foot, two-story building features a metal hip roof over a large central atrium space. Natural light is filtered to all rooms through skylights and clerestory windows.
California Pediatric Center was founded in 1921 as a nonprofit health-care provider at affordable costs for low-income families.
