I certainly agree with Chuck Carpenter (Viewers’ Views, Aug. 16) about his beef on similar-interest shows competing with each other. Added to the Sunday morning news shows could be such irritants as “2 on the Town”/”Eye on L.A.” and “Donahue”/”The Oprah Winfrey Show.” Has it never occurred to “someone higher up” that the above programs are great audience splitters?
