Group to Honor Broadcaster Turner

Physicians for Social Responsibility will honor broadcaster-businessman R. E. (Ted) Turner at its annual garden party at 2 p.m. next Sunday at the Santa Monica home of Marlene and Byron Lasky. Turner, owner of the Turner Broadcasting System, is being recognized by the physicians group for his contribution to world peace through public education on the threat of nuclear war.
