Hooray for Hollywood! Hooray for David Ferrell! Finally an honest article (Part I, Aug. 31) on the motives behind pushing the Hollywood Redevelopment Project through while ignoring the objections of 37,000 homeowners and tenants living in the redevelopment area.
The homes of these 37,000 people are in jeopardy and we have had no voice in the process.
I have attended every Project Area Committee meeting since April, 1986. This committee is supposed to be a watchdog to look out for the residents’ interest. Unfortunately, the PAC is dominated by big business representatives who deny the residents an opportunity to even speak.
Is this America? These flagrant abuses must stop.
