To me, Mayor Tom Bradley can do no wrong. But he and those turkeys on the City Council didn’t exactly make my summer, canceling the Street Scene. As a practicing agnostic, christened Catholic, reared Congregationalist, I can take the Pope or leave him. As for the king and queen of Spain, yawnsville. But to be done out of Johnny Otis and Etta James, belting the blues, under that L.A. murky blue, in the middle of a mob of true believers, my beer can in my hand! Mr. Mayor, y’all really know how to hurt a girl.
