Huntington Beach Loses in Soccer Final, 2-0

The North Huntington Beach Untouchables were defeated, 2-0, by Santa Clara United in the boys’ 19-and-under championship match at the North Huntington Beach soccer tournament at Ocean View High School Monday.

Santa Clara scored on a penalty kick in the first five minutes. They scored again late in the second half.

In the girls’ 19-and-under division, the Mission Viejo Soccerettes defeated the Chino Nightmares, 2-0. In the boys’ 12-and-under division, the Mission Viejo Starfighters were defeated, 5-3, by the Phoenix Monarchs.
