Rams : Guman, Anno Put Back on Roster

Running back Mike Guman and linebacker Sam Anno, released Monday by the Rams, cleared league waivers Tuesday and were re-signed by the team, as planned.
The players return to the 45-man roster, allowing the Rams to place linebacker Mark Jerue and tackle Duval Love on the four-week injured reserve list.
Had Jerue and Love been placed on this list prior to Tuesday, they would be required to miss a minimum of six games.
Both players are expected back in less than a month.
In a trade Tuesday, the Rams acquired guard Jeff Walker from the San Diego Chargers in exchange for the Rams ‘ 11th-round draft pick next season.
Walker, in his second year from Memphis State, was the Chargers’ third-round pick in 1986.
Walker (6-4, 295) can play both the guard and tackle positions on offense but made his biggest impact in San Diego last season as a nose tackle on special teams, blocking three field goals and an extra point.
The catch is that he injured a knee early in training camp and will be moved directly to the Rams’ injured reserve list.
