Rex Moore, USC’s starting inside linebacker, is expected to miss the rest of the season after undergoing surgery Tuesday at Huntington Memorial Hospital for injuries suffered in the Trojans’ 27-13 loss Monday night to Michigan State.
Moore, who broke his left leg and dislocated an ankle in the first half, was the Trojans leading tackler last season with 206, second-best in the Pacific 10 Conference. He will be replaced by sophomore Delmar Chesley.
