La Jolla-based Precision Aerotech, maker of metal assemblies and components for the aerospace industry, reported first-quarter net income of $336,000 on sales of $8.3 million, compared to net income of $385,000 on sales of $7.9 million over the same three months last year.
In a prepared statement, the company said its earnings were adversely affected by “accelerated marketing efforts” and costs related to its “acquisition activities.”
