National Lumber Reports Net Earnings of $336,667

National Lumber & Supply Inc., a chain of Fountain Valley-based home-improvement stores, reported net earnings of $336,667 for the second quarter of its fiscal 1987, contrasted with a year-earlier net loss of $103,185. Revenues for the quarter ended July 31 rose 8% to $43.6 million from $40.4 million a year ago.

For the first six months of its fiscal 1987, National Lumber reported earnings of $396,793, contrasted with a net loss of $685,274 in the previous year. Revenues for the half were $81.8 million, up 12% from the $73 million reported in 1986.
