Monrovia : Garbage Rates Increased

The City Council has granted a 10.5% rate increase to Best Disposal Co., retroactive to Sept. 1. The company said the increase was necessary because of higher fuel, insurance and dumping costs. The monthly bill for a single-family residence will go up from $7.33 to $8.10.
