La Habra : Fire at Cabinet Store Is Under Investigation
- Share via
A fire of suspicious origin shot flames 40 feet into the air and caused about $110,000 damage to a cabinet shop early Wednesday
However, firefighters put out the blaze before it destroyed the structure, a fire department spokesman said.
“We were able to knock the fire down fairly quickly,” said Sens, who added that fire units had put out blaze about 30 minutes after it was reported.
The blaze was reported shortly after midnight at Thoemmes Cabinets in the 900 block of East Lambert Road, Fire Capt. Gary Sens said.
The fire apparently began in an outside shed between the business and a storm drain, Sens said. An investigation was continuing.
