Honasan is anything but patriotic and idealist. He helped mount a revolt against the Marcos dictatorship only because his master Enrile by his own admission, was about to be arrested by Marcos puppet Ver. He had since attempted several coups against the duly elected Aquino government because his master Enrile is impatient to grab power.
