A 6,000-square-foot gallery at Pacific Design Center has been named in memory of Murray Feldman, president and executive director, who died on July 26 at the age of 64.
Ron Birtcher, managing partner of the center, said the gallery will be part of a new plaza that has been designed as part of the center’s expansion.
Supervisor Ed Edelman, Los Angeles Councilman Zev Yaroslavsky and West Hollywood Councilman Steve Schulte paid tribute to Feldman in a memorial service at the center.
Known as “the blue whale” because of its blue glass exterior, the center is located at 8687 Melrose Ave. It provides showrooms for home furnishings and interior design.
