Charges Dismissed Against Ex-Ministers

Trespassing and assault charges against two defrocked Lutheran pastors have been dismissed by a municipal court in Columbus, Ohio, for lack of evidence and mistakes about details of the case in a police affidavit.
The two, D. Douglas Roth and Daniel Solberg, removed from the ministry by the Lutheran Church in America for controversial tactics in protesting economic conditions in the Pittsburgh, Pa., area, had been arrested after staging a demonstration at the church’s convention in Columbus last May.
