Yorba Linda : General Manager for Water District Named

William P. Workman has been named general manager of the Yorba Linda Water District. Workman will assume the $67,500-a-year post on Sept. 28 upon the retirement of Ralph C. Shook, who has served as district manager for 24 years. Workman was selected from a field of 55 candidates during a statewide search, Shook said. Most recently Workman served as assistant city manager for Oceanside in San Diego County. He lives in Brea with his wife and two daughters.
