MARXIST PROPAGANDA

Time will tell who was the genius, Groucho Marx or Elvis Presley (Calendar Letters, Aug. 30).
I say Groucho. Elvis was very good; Groucho brought a nation through a terrible depression, and one visit to him is still worth 50 to a psychiatrist. And don’t forget, you get Harpo and Chico as a bonus.
I do think it’s long overdue for America to recognize the amazing talent of Groucho, and his marvelous brothers too, by throwing a big, big party in their honor. How else can we pass on to our children, and their children’s children, the genius of the incredible Marx Brothers?
Let’s do it now. We could use some laughs.
