How Best to See the Pope on His Trip to Los Angeles

San Diego television stations KFMB Channel 8 and KGTV Channel 10 will broadcast live coverage of select events and taped coverage of other events during the papal visit to Los Angeles as a part of their nightly newscasts. KCST Channel 39 will broadcast taped coverage during its nightly newscasts. Available on cable in San Diego are Los Angeles stations KTLA Channel 5, which will provide live continuous coverage of the papal visit, and KTTV Channel 11, which will broadcast selected events live.
People can view the Pope’s 7.2 mile motorcade through Los Angeles on Tuesday. The motorcade is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. and arrive at St. Vibiana’s Cathedral at 11:15 a.m.
Admission to Masses at the Memorial Coliseum on Tuesday
and Dodger Stadium on Wednesday are by ticket only. Tickets already have been distributed through local parishes. If you don’t have a ticket, don’t come to the stadium.
