Construction will begin Tuesday on a $16-million, 505,816-square-foot warehouse-distribution complex that will be the largest facility in Ontario’s 4-year-old California Commerce Center.
The 21-acre complex at the corner of Doubleday Avenue and Santa Fe Street will be composed of one 387,216-square foot building and an 118,600-square-foot structure. It is being developed by Leed Ontario IV/V, a California general partnership, and is being built by Whittier-based Oltmans Construction Co.
The warehouse-distribution complex will be jointly owned by Leed Ontario and Teachers Retirement System of Illinois when completed next February. Financing was arranged by Wells Fargo Realty Finance, a Santa Monica-based firm that also arranged the joint venture.
