2 Contractors to Get Good Scout Awards

Dana Roberts and Jack Schram, two longtime members of the Associated General Contractors of California, will be awarded the 1987 Construction Industry Good Scout award Thursday at opening ceremonies for the Cabrillo Beach Youth Waterfront Sports Center, 3000 Shoshonean Road, San Pedro.
Roberts is president of C. W. Driver Co., a Los Angeles-based contractor, and Schram is president of J. L. Schram Contractor in Santa Monica. The Boy Scouts of America give out the annual awards to individuals for their meritorious service to the community.
The awards presentation is part of a fund-raiser for the $3.4-million sports center. Tickets for the 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. ceremonies are $150, and may be purchased from the Boy Scouts Greater Los Angeles Council, 213/413-4400.
