Defending Champions Advance in Volleyball

Defending champions Tim Hovland and Mike Dodd are among four teams that advanced to the semifinals of the winners’ bracket Saturday in the $20,000 Miller Lite/Orange County Pro Beach Volleyball Open at Seal Beach.
Hovland and Dodd play John Hanley and Jon Stevenson in one semifinal today. Sinjin Smith and Randy Stoklos face Karch Kiraly and Ricci Luyties in the other semifinal. Both matches begin at 9 a.m.
The championship is scheduled for 3 p.m.
