Deluxe in Alaska

Jerry Hulse recently suggested Glacier Bay Country Inn, Box 5, Gustavus, Alaska 99826, as an out-of-the-way place. We went, and concur that it is a great place. Gourmet Alaskan food, deluxe accommodations, Al and Arnie are pleasant hosts, and no TV, radios or phones, or neighbors. Just clean air, good fishing, boat cruises and relaxing. The $68 per person covers room and three meals, a real bargain. Thanks for suggesting this. Unfortunately, a similar place in Canada, Little Gun Lake Lodge, that you suggested years ago could not make it and closed this year.
