USIU Beats Texas Tech in Women’s Volleyball

SAN DIEGO — Claudia Johnson had 21 kills and Renan Komurcuoglu had 57 assists to lead the United States International University volleyball team to a 15-2, 15-3, 11-15, 14-16, 15-4 victory over Texas Tech in a nonconference match at the La Jolla Jewish Community Center Sunday.
Cherlynn Sorenson added 11 kills for USIU (7-2). Texas Tech is 7-6.
