Anjelica Huston, Jack Nicholson, Lauren Bacall and Harry Dean Stanton were among some 500 people who attended a memorial Saturday in Hollywood for director John Huston, 81, who died of emphysema on Aug. 28. Bacall, who starred in Huston’s “Key Largo,” praised the film maker for “the wit of him, the elegance, (the) grandeur . . .” at the two-hour tribute held at the Directors Guild of America.
