TKA Holdings, a subsidiary of Tonka, is offering Kenner Parker Toys stockholders $51 for each of their shares. Kenner Parker’s board accepted the friendly buyout offer Sept. 4 and recommended that stockholders tender their shares to Minnetonka, Minn.-based Tonka. The offer from the maker of Tonka toy trucks, GoBots and Pound Puppies exceeded a $47 a share hostile takeover bid from New World Entertainment of Los Angeles.
