George Inouye, a Gardena building contractor, was sentenced to 180 days in jail and three years of probation after pleading no contest to receiving property stolen from the Los Angeles Unified School District. Atty. Herbert Lapin said. Inouye was accused of adding a room to a home owned by James L. Riley, former head of the school district’s operations department, with custodial and maintenance supplies taken from the district without authorization.
