Governor Picks Rippee for Accountancy Board

Gov. George Deukmejian Tuesday appointed Earl F. Rippee of Laguna Beach to the State Board of Accountancy. Rippee, 67, is scheduled to serve until Nov. 26, 1990. He is chairman and president of Anvil Corp. of Irvine, a financial services firm he has owned since 1952.
Rippee, a Republican, has a bachelor’s degree from the USC and a master’s from Pepperdine University.
