San Juan Blacked Out

Three blocks of downtown San Juan Capistrano were without power for several hours Tuesday evening after a car hit a transformer at Del Obispo Street and Camino Capistrano.
The power went out shortly after 5 p.m. in a “couple dozen” businesses, a San Diego Gas and Electric spokeswoman said. Electricity is expected to be restored by this morning, she said.
