Women’s Soccer Roundup : Mauro Leads UC San Diego Past Chapman, 2-0

Heather Mauro, a junior forward, had a goal and an assist to lead UC San Diego past Chapman, 2-0, in a nonconference women’s soccer match Tuesday at Orange.

Mauro scored the game’s first goal at 19:01, before assisting on Stephanie Savoy’s goal at 26:30. UCSD is 4-1. Chapman is 0-2.

United States International University 3, Redlands 1--Lisa Klapka, Terry Esquivel and Kitty Demoss scored in the second half to give the Gulls their second victory in as many home matches. USIU is 2-3 overall. Redlands is 0-1.
