Orange County College Roundup : Fullerton Women Lose in Volleyball

Loyola Marymount defeated Cal State Fullerton, 17-15, 15-10, 15-6, in a nonconference women’s volleyball match Tuesday at Loyola.
The Lions (5-4) were led by Leslie Wohlford’s 13 kills. Susan Herman, a sophomore outside hitter, had 11 kills for the Titans (7-4).
In other volleyball action:
UC Irvine 3, Hawaii Pacific 2--Kris Roberts had a school-record 28 kills to lead the visiting Anteaters to a 15-10, 9-15, 15-3, 7-15, 15-11 nonconference victory.
In women’s soccer:
UC San Diego 2, Chapman 0-- Heather Mauro had a goal and an assist to lead the Tritons to a nonconference win at Chapman.
Mauro, a junior forward, scored the game’s first goal at 19:01, before assisting on Stephanie Savoy’s score at 26:30.
UC San Diego is 4-1. Chapman fell to 0-2.
