Hawthorne : 5% Pay Raise for Managers

The City Council has approved a 5% increase in wages and benefits for members of the Hawthorne Executive Group, which represents middle-management employees and department heads. Last month the City Council approved a similar increase for three other employee groups.
Only police officers remain without a new contract. City Manager R. Kenneth Jue said talks are continuing with the Hawthorne Police Officers’ Assn.
