Sid Gillman, a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, has joined the University of Pittsburgh’s coaching staff as an unpaid volunteer assistant.
Gillman, 75, coached the Rams (1955-59), the Los Angeles-San Diego Chargers (1960-69) and the Houston Oilers (1973-74). He lives in La Jolla.
