Holmes Retains Title by Winning at Forum

Lindell Holmes of Detroit retained his U.S. Boxing Assn. super middleweight title by scoring a decision over Jorge Amparo of Las Vegas in a 12-round fout at the Forum Wednesday night. Holmes is now 32-5-1; Amparo, 24-7.
