For Larry Briggs information (Letters, Aug. 26) Joan Kroc’s donation of $1 million to the Democratic Party will help the homeless, hungry and oppressed of our nation.
The Democratic Party has always been the party for the people. It is to be hoped that the voters have learned a thing or two about the Republican Party and of the special interests Republicans represent.
Yes, Mr. Briggs, I am screaming, screaming my appreciation to Joan Kroc for her dedication toward achieving a just and peaceful society.
