Advertising by the NRA

The NRA ad asks us all to “Defend your right to defend yourself.” Everyone please take a second look.
The text stated among other things that, “You alone . . . bear the ultimate responsibility for your own protection.”
Hey, it is one thing to load up your homes with guns where more often than not we kill our children, spouses, in-laws, etc. But this ad, with a blatant lack of subtlety, suggests that we protect ourselves--on the streets--with firearms. Can you imagine?
