SDSU Goalie Continues Shutout Streak, 2-0

Kyle Whittemore scored both goals as the San Diego State University soccer team defeated Nevada Las Vegas, 2-0, Friday night at Aztec Bowl.
SDSU goalie Felipe Hernandez recorded his fifth straight shutout at Aztec Bowl. He has not been scored on at home this season.
Whittemore scored on a header at the 16-minute mark on an assist by Ken Taylor. He scored on another header at the 33-minute mark on an assist from Pat Henderson.
SDSU is 5-2; UNLV is 1-3.

Point Loma Nazarene 1, Loyola Marymount 0--Freshman Steve Cokkins scored at the 15-minute mark of the second half to get the victory for Point Loma Nazarene College at Loyola Marymount University Friday. Carey Johnson and Pete Valdez combined for the shutout.
