IL PAPA’S LEFTOVERS
Imagine the rabbi from Nazareth, in whose name John Paul II claims to work, stumbling upon one of the meals prepared for the Pope (“Dining Out With Il Papa ,” by Ruth Reichl, Sept. 13).
The Pope and his guests might feel as uncomfortable as the moneychangers in the ancient temple, and the plates might be sent to the hungry on the streets outside St. Vibiana’s.
