As long as Diane Keaton is looking to package a current version of a classic film (Madonna in “The Blue Angel” (Outtakes, by Leonard Klady, Aug. 30), here are my suggestions for other ventures:
Danny DeVito in “North by Northwest,” Joan Collins and Peter Holm in “Double Indemnity,” Whoppi Goldberg in “Mildred Pierce,” Bruce Willis and Cybill Shepherd in “The African Queen” and Mamie Van Doren and Sean Penn in “Sunset Boulevard.”
