Laguna Beach : Community Clinic’s Auction to Include Yacht

The Laguna Beach Community Clinic has invited the public to a fund-raising auction at 5:30 p.m. today. The sale will include a yacht, tickets to an Angels game, pearls and other items.
The auction is part of an effort to raise $100,000 by March, 1988. The clinic offers psychological counseling, medical treatment, legal help and dental services. Charges are based on patients’ incomes, although no one is turned away, said Dr. Suzanne Hard, the executive director.
The clinic’s medical and counseling departments serve about 10,000 people annually. Most of the patients have incomes below the poverty line.
The auction and a $75 dinner will be at Picasso’s restaurant in Dana Point Harbor.
