GM Recalls 480,000 Cars, Cites Fire Hazard

DETROIT — General Motors Corp. is recalling about 480,000 of its 1987 Buicks, Oldsmobiles and Pontiacs to replace windshield washer bottle brackets because of a potential fire hazard, the auto maker has announced.
The voluntary safety recall involves Buick LeSabres and Park Avenues, Oldsmobile Delta 88s and Ninety-Eights and Pontiac Bonnevilles, the company said.
