Gary D. Johnson has been appointed managing partner of Arthur Young & Co.’s Orange County office, replacing Richard Swintek, who has left the firm.
Johnson joined the accounting firm in 1964 in the Los Angeles office. He served in Orange County in 1969-80 and was named partner in 1975. He returned to the Los Angeles office in 1980 and in 1985 was promoted to managing partner in San Diego.
