Microsemi Corp. has completed the previously announced acquisition of Omni Technology Corp., a privately held maker of electronic testing devices.
The $2-million cash deal is one of three acquisitions in recent months for Microsemi, a Santa Ana manufacturer of semiconductor products and assemblies. In June, the company acquired Hybrid Components of Beverly, Mass., and last week it purchased 60% of Vitarel Microelectronics, San Diego.
Omni is headed by Tom Swanson, its co-founder and president, and will continue to operate from its Fremont, Calif., facility.
