Luther Medical’s Sales Zoom in First Quarter

Luther Medical Products Inc., a Santa Ana maker of medical devices, predicts that its sales during the first quarter of its current fiscal year will exceed the company’s total sales for the entire previous year.
Luther’s sales during July and August, the first two months of its 1988 fiscal year, have reached $555,000, just $90,000 short of the company’s total sales for fiscal 1987, said Ronald Luther, president of the firm.
Luther attributed the gains primarily to the company’s recent acquisition of Neuro Diagnostics Inc., which manufactures equipment to test the human nervous system.
