Trafalgar Holdings agreed to buy 60 color-tinted black-and-white films from Marina del Rey-based Color Systems Technology and the rights to use the tinting technology in Europe and the Far East. Los Angeles-based Trafalgar, a private investment firm headed by Charles W. Knapp, will pay $33 million over the next three years if it exercises options for all 60 films. No value was put on the licensing of the tinting technique in Europe and the Far East. That price is to be negotiated later, the companies said in a joint release.
