‘Bypassing Peace’ in Nicaragua
The great majority of the American people are against any further tax dollars being thrown away on Reagan’s anti-Communist crusade in Central America. We have absolutely no business interfering in the politics of small nations. As for tiny Nicaragua being a security threat to us, we heard the same excuses in Vietnam. Reagan and the right wingers want war, no matter the death and destruction--not to mention the eventual loss of American lives. The biggest security threat is the CIA.
