The fire that destroyed the Arcadia, Fla., home of three boys exposed to AIDS was set from inside, and investigators have a suspect but not enough evidence to make an arrest, Sheriff Joe Varnadore said. Varnadore said the family of Louise and Clifford Ray has been cleared in the Aug. 28 blaze in their home, which broke out four days after the boys were admitted to a DeSoto County elementary school under a court order amid strong community protests. Since the fire, the Ray family has moved to adjacent Sarasota County, which has a policy allowing children exposed to AIDS to enroll.
