Actress Elizabeth Taylor promised the House Energy and Commerce subcommittee on health that she would talk to President Reagan and the television networks to try to free money and prime time for education about AIDS. And, saying people must change their behavior, she said that she would have an AIDS test before getting involved with someone. Taylor, who is national chairwoman of the American Foundation for AIDS Research, said she would be willing to make explicit public service announcements about AIDS.
