HONOLULU — A Honolulu attorney who was a law school classmate of Sen. Joseph R. Biden Jr. (D-Del.) has confirmed that he and the presidential aspirant were on a team that won an international competition in Canada.
Biden has conceded that he erred when he said he was graduated in the top half of his class at Syracuse University College of Law, but he defended another part of his record, a claim to have won a moot court competition.
The Honolulu lawyer, Jared Jossem, said late Monday that he, Biden and another law student in 1967 represented Syracuse against Queen’s College of Kingston, Canada.
